BEVERLY HILLS, May 19, (THEWILL) – According to reports, a pastor, Frankline Ndifor, who ‘lay his hands on’ both confirmed and suspected corona virus sufferers, is dead. He was aged 39.
The pastor, who also doubles a politician, who was a candidate in the central African state of the Cameroon’s presidential election in 2018, died of the illness on Saturday.
According to a Daily Mail report, sufferers of the corona virus pandemic, had gathered to his church, Kingship International Ministries Church and he laid lay hands on them, praying for their healing.
His supporters did not even make matter easy for medical authorities as they blocked the entrance to his home in the capital city of Douala for eight hours insisting that the pastor was on a spiritual retreat with God and should not be buried. A medical doctor, Gaelle Nnanga, who was called to treat Ndifor after he started suffering severe respiratory difficulties, stated that the deceased pastor died ten minutes after treatment.
THEWILL reports that Cameroon has 3529 cases of the deadly coronavirus with 140 deaths and 1567 recoveries as at Tuesday.
