March 02, (THEWILL) – The final fixtures dates of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana have been finalized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
CAF informed the NFF on Monday that the FIFA World Cup play-off round between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Ghana’s Black Stars will now take place on new dates.
The first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium will now take place on Friday, March 25th, beginning at 7:30 pm Ghana time, which is 8:30 pm local time. It was originally set to be played on Thursday, March 24th.
Also, the reverse fixture billed for Sunday, March 27, between the two West African arch-rivals, will now take place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29th, beginning at 6 pm local time.
THEWILL recalls that the Super Eagles qualified for the play-offs by winning Group C, defeating Cape Verde, Liberia, and the Central African Republic.
