BEVERLY HILLS, March 02, (THEWILL) – Nigerian musical star, Burna Boy, has been selected among top artistes performing at the 63rd Grammy Awards scheduled for March 14.
The organisers of the event disclosed this on Tuesday in a blog post revealing activities for this year’s edition of the awards.
Burna Boy will perform at the event alongside Lido Pimienta, the Colombian-Canadian musician, Poppy, the American singer, and Rufus Wainwright.
The Academy said: “All of the premiere ceremony performers and the host are nominated this year, as are most of the presenters.”
It also disclosed that the event would be hosted by a three-time Grammy nominee, Jhené Aiko.
THEWILL writes that Burna Boy has been nominated for the “Best Global Music Album” category for “Twice As Tall,” his 2020 album
This will be Burna Boy’s second Grammy nomination.
