October 24, (THEWILL) – Award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has berated those criticising him for shaving his beard.
THEWILL writes that the singer’s hair and beard have become a common aspect of his appearance over the years.
The singer, however, surprised many of his fans recently after he shared a beardless clip of himself.
His new appearance has sparked social media reactions as many critics expressed their reservations.
Reacting in a post on his Instagram story on Sunday, the ‘Ye’ singer stated that people should not base their likeness for him on certain factors and he warned that he could also be forced to cut his hair should the criticism persists.
“I love you all too! But don’t make me cut the hair on my head as well. If you love me for my hair? Or my Beard or some shit I bought with money,” he wrote.
“Then that’s Great but anybody can grow hair and buy shit. Don’t build your life on conditional Love. Build on family. Build on those who have shown no sign of potential disLoyalty. Build on talent, build on God!”
