Buhari Says ‘I Am Feeling Much Better Now’

SAN FRANCISCO, March 10, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed on Friday morning that he is pleased to be back in Nigeria, adding that he is feeling much better now.

He stated this in his first meeting with top government officials led by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, after spending 49 days on a medical vacation in London.

“I am pleased I am back, I am feeling much better now,” Buhari said at the start of the meeting with Osinbajo, some governors and officials at the presidential villa in Abuja.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state, and his Zamfara state counterpart, Abdulaziz Yari, are among those attending the meeting

Others at the meeting include: the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; the Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Lawal Daura, and presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina; who were among those who received Buhari at the Aso Rock helipad.
