BEVERLY HILLS, January 07, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has reversed the suspension of Mrs Damilola Ogunbiyi as Managing Director of Rural Electrification Agency, REA, and instead accepted her resignation effective December 31, 2019 to enable her begin her new job at the United Nations.
Ogunbiyi had been suspended by the Minister of Power, Sale Mamman over alleged misconduct but President Buhari nullified her removal for not following “due process,” according to an official memo from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Hajiya Amina Mohammed, seen by THEWILL.
