BEVERLY HILLS, January 26, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Bukola Saraki, the Senate president, and other political bigwigs from All Progressives Congress (APC) are expected to join Yahaya Adoza Bello, the newly-elected governor of Kogi State, on Wednesday, as he will be sworn in as executive governor at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Kogi State.

THEWILL gathered from a source from the Presidency that “President Buhari’s desire to attend the swearing-in was unconnected with political design, which brought in the Presidency’s anointed son – Yahaya Bello, as executive governor, having indirectly supported the alleged easing out James Faleke, the embattled running mate of Abubakar Audu, after his principal’s demise.”

The source said Buhari was not only coming to attend the swearing-in but would also give full support to the newest APC controlled state, which, according to the source, “will now have full political benefits” due for it, considering its proximity to the seat of power – Abuja.

Also, in a press release signed and made available to journalists in Lokoja on Tuesday, Isiaq Ajibola, chairman, media and publicity committee of the governor-elect’s steering ceremony, corroborated that President Buhari, Osinbajo, Senate president, APC governors and members at the National Assembly as well as other dignitaries would attend the occasion.
