Buhari Names Delta Railway Station, Complex After Jonathan

BEVERLY HILLS, July 18, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has named the railway station in Agbor, Delta State, after former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Railway Station and Complex will henceforth be known as “Goodluck Jonathan Railway Station and Complex.”

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who announced the approval during his inspection of the Warri-Itakpe Rail Line on Saturday, said railway fares are expected to increase when the service resumes especially on the Abuja-Kaduna line.

THEWILL recalls that Jonathan during his 6-year tenure re-started the country’s railway projects, which the present administration is completing.
