BEVERLY HILLS, July 29, (THEWILL) – Royana Black, 47, who featured in Broadway’s Brighton Beach Memoirs and CBS sitcom, Raising Miranda, is dead.
Sources said that the actress died in Los Angeles after battling with Myeloid Leukemia.
The deceased’s family announced her death on Tuesday saying her death was a sudden one.
“We are shocked by the outpouring of support from friends and fans.
“Royana had an infectious smile and laugh which could light even the darkest of days. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was truly an angel on earth,” the statement read in part.
THEWILL reports that the actress worked with Mathew Broderick on the Broadway play, Brighton Beach Memoirs for ten years.
