BEVERLY HILLS, May 18, (THEWILL) – Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has dissolved the State cabinet after some members indicated their interest in the 2023 governorship race.
THEWILL can report that Chief of Staff, Chief David Edevbie, Commissioner for Works, James Augoye and former SSG, Festus Agas are some of persons who privately informed the governor of their intention some weeks back.
Those affected by the dissolution according a government briefing are Commissioners, Special Advisers, Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Strategist to the Governor and Senior Political Adviser, the former commissioner for information, Charles Aniagwu told journalists in a briefing.
