September 09, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Imo State for a one-day official visit.
The president landed at the Sam Mbakwe, Imo Airport at about 09:30 Am.
He was received by the Southeast Governors, led by the Chairman of the Southeast Governors, and the governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, host Governor, Hope Uzodimma of Imo state, among other Igbo leaders.
President Buhari is expected to commission some landmark projects in the State and meet with Igbo leaders and other Igbo groups.
Among the projects to be Inaugurated include Naze-Nekede road, balloon technology flood erosion control tunnel, New executive Chambers and Owerri-Orlu-Onitsha road by-pass.
