September 18, (THEWILL) – Businesswoman and boss of Bonix, one of the most sought-after drink vendors in Nigeria, has expanded her business. The entrepreneur who has been in the drink business for 30 years has added the manufacturing of premium table water to her business empire.
Bonix Second Cup, hit the market last week and it is gradually becoming a preferred brand. Manufacturing of beverages has been one of Okolie’s big dreams which she started nursing after her drink-serving business stood on its feet.
She wanted to start with the manufacturing of nonalcoholic drinks, but because of the financial strength involved, she ventured into table water business. Her company boasts of the latest equipment and technology in the beverage manufacturing business.
Okolie was first tutored by her mother who was selling drinks at Tejuosho market in Lagos State. The business grew into a major supply of drinks at different locations in addition to staying with her mother’s stall.
Even after gaining admission to study at the Obafemi Awolowo University, she would run to Lagos during the weekend to cater to her clients in the party scene.
