SAN FRANCISCO, November 19, (THEWILL) – People’s magazine has named Black Panther star, Michael B. Jordan, the sexiest man alive.
Jordan is the third black actor in a row to be awarded the annual accolade.
Reacting to the news, the movie star said the title gave him “a cool feeling. It is a good club to be part of”.
THEWILL recalls that the 33-year-old star started his career as a child actor and gained prominence steadily until he made a breakthrough in the 2013 social justice drama “Fruitvale Station”.
While speaking with the People magazine, the actor said the women in his family are proud of his new title.
“When my grandmother was alive, it was something that she collected, and then my mom naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well. This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for.”
THEWILL writes that the movie star will appear on the cover of the magazine’s double issue appearing on newsstands on Friday.
