September 11, (THEWILL) – A housemate of the BBNaija season six edition, Pere Egbi, has been nominated for ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role (English)’ category for his character in ‘Butterflies’, a Biodun Stephen film.
The Best of Nollywood Awards (BON), organisers of the award ceremony, announced the news on Saturday in an Instagram post.
In the movie, Pere played a middle-aged man dealing with the overbearing and atrocious attitude of his partner.
The reality star was nominated alongside Blossom Chukwujekwu (Hope Springs Eternal), Stan Eze (Rattlesnake), Enyinna Nwigwe (Badamasi), Okey Uzoeshi (Strain), and Uzor Arukwe (Yours Regardless).
