BEVERLY HILLS, March 01, (THEWILL) – About 10 security personnel attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Bauchi State Police Command were involved in an accident on Monday.

The accident occurred along Burga-Yelwa Duguri road in Tafawa-Balewa Local Government Area of the State when Governor Bala Mohammed was on a project inspection tour in the LGA.

The RRS van, which formed part of the Governor’s escorting convoy, veered off the road at top speed.

Although no life was lost, one policeman was left unconscious when the vehicle somersaulted twice.

However, the Governor went on with the project inspection and his tour.

The victims were immediately rushed to the neighbouring General Hospital, Bunu, in Tafawa-Balewa, where they received treatment.
