August 25, (THEWILL) – Comedy merchant, Bright Okpocha, aka Basketmouth, has cried out over a failed deal with a real estate firm.
The comedian called out the company that owns Prime Water View Estate over a huge sum of money he paid for a house about 14 years ago.
He paid N32 million as down payment for a building in the estate 14 years ago and the company has refused to give him his property nor refund his money.
Stating further, he said the company had an issue with the bank sponsoring the project and they had to drag each other to court.
The issue was resolved in court, but the company didn’t refund his money and no building was allocated to him as well.
“I put a N32 million down payment for a house in Prime Water View Estate 14 years ago.
“They have some issues with the bank funding the project that landed both parties in court. After the matter was resolved, I started hearing all sorts of stories concerning the delivery of the house and the refund.
“14 years later, I’m yet to get a refund, house or even BQ sef. If I call this man out now, do you think I waited long enough?”, he asked.
