SAN FRANCISCO, January 11, (THEWILL) – Nigerian rapper, Lanre Dabiri aka ‘ELDee’, has stated that banning anyone from social media was a form of tyranny.
Eldee disclosed this on his Twitter page on Monday but it was not clear if the music star was referring to the recent ban placed on President Trump by Tweeter, Facebook and Instagram or he was saying something different.
He wrote: “Banning someone from a social media platform simply because you don’t agree with their opinions is a classic demonstration of tyranny.”
THEWILL writes that outgoing president of the United States, Donald Trump, was banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms following the violence unleashed on the US Capitol by his supporters last week.
