BEVERLY HILLS, July 04, (THEWILL) – MultiChoice Nigeria says about 30,000 Nigerian youths applied to be housemates in the Season 5 of the BBNaija reality TV show, according to the organising company. It was however silent on the number of housemates for this season’s edition.
THEWILL had earlier reported that the prospective housemates are currently in quarantine as precautionary measures against coronavirus.
THEWILL also recalls that Mercy Eke won Season 4, which had 26 housemates. She walked away with a cool N30 million-prize money.
Chief Customer Officer for MultiChoice, Martin Mabutho, Saturday said this year edition’s prize money will be “the highest ever in the history of the show.”
