BEVERLY HILLS, June 25, (THEWILL) – The The manager Chris Brown hired to fix his image after beating up ex-girlfriend Rihanna years back is suing him for assault.
According to Mike G, Chris hired him in 2012 to help get him off debt and drugs as well as fix his image which had gone to the pits after assaulting Rihanna – which he did seeing the singers success now.
However, things took a nasty turn in May according to Mike, when Chris without provocation, took him in a room, brutally attacked him with repeated punches to the face and neck, which landed him in the ER. Mike claims Brown’s rage was fuelled by drugs.
According to the lawsuit, rather than showing remorse for his actions, Chris began nocking Mike on social media and bragging to all those who cared to listen that he beat his manager up. He even went as far as threatening to beat up his tour crew if they ever stepped out of line, the suit added.
According to TMZ,Mike G’s attorney Patty Glaser said, “We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown. Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy.”
However, the ‘Zero’ singer has responded to Mike’s allegations in an Instgram video saying his fired Mike for stealing from him.
