October 4, (THEWILL) – Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid manager, has promised the team that he will remain with them for the foreseeable future and that his only ambition is to lead Los Blancos.

In his first season back after leaving Real for a second time only last summer, Ancelotti won both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League and the 63-year-old Italian has a contract with the team through the summer of 2024.

THEWILL recalls that he was fired by Real in 2015, just a year after delivering La Decima. Reports in the Spanish media recently claimed that Real are considering giving him a new contract to rain his services at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Responding to questions about his future ahead of Real’s UEFA Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk, Ancelotti said: “For this year and the next, Real Madrid. Then Madrid, and again Madrid.

Then we’ll see. Here, they say that it is very easy to be the manager of Madrid: you just have to win the matches.”

Real’s draw with Osasuna on Sunday marked the first time this season that they had not won a game, which allowed Barcelona to overtake them on goal difference and move into the first position.
