BEVERLY HILLS, June 01, (THEWILL) – Popular American rapper, Dashawn Robertson, better known as Lil Loaded, has died at the age of 20.
Loaded was the voice behind the 2019 viral summer hit song “6locc 6a6y.”
His death was announced by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office on Monday to USA TODAY. However, the cause of his death was not disclosed.
However, Ashkan Mehryari, an attorney for the rapper, disclosed that the cause of death was suicide.
“Sadly, I am able to confirm that Mr. Robertson passed away today,” Mehryari wrote in a statement.
According to the attorney, his client’s death was “very tragic,” adding, “He had a very bright and promising music career ahead of him”.
THEWILL writes that the death of the rapper is coming after a week after “6locc 6a6y” was certified gold on May 25 by the Recording Industry Association of America.
