June 23, (THEWILL) – After losing defamation suit against ex-husband, Johnny Depp, Amber Heard is said to be writing a tell-all book. The actress took this step because she thinks her career in Hollywood is over and she has nothing to lose.
Depp had sued the actress for defamation over op-ed published in the Washington post in 2018. She called herself a domestic abuse survivor, though she did not mention Depp’s name.
She was ordered to pay the actor $8.3million in damages. After the suit, Heard’s lawyer revealed she does not have such amount of money to pay the actor.
During a chat with OK magazine, an insider revealed that “Heard consider her career in Hollywood over. She’s already in talks and excited about (writing a tell all book). At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to tell all.”
However, a New York divorce lawyer, Dror Bikel, warned that Depp’s lawyer will be reading and reviewing everything. Therefore, the actress shouldn’t cross the line. “Depp and his attorney will be reading and listening to everything that Heard states.
“If she crosses the line, which is likely, there is no question that she will be hit with another defamation suit and end up right back in court.”
