Amaju Pinnick Lauds Chief Adebutu As NFF Signs Partnership With “Baba Ijebu” Premier Lotto

September 14, (THEWILL) – The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick, on Monday, heaped praises on Chief Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu (CON), the chief executive officer of Premier Lotto Limited, for his contributions to the development of football in the country.

This came at the occasion to mark the official sealing of a partnership between the football body and Premier Lotto, popularly known as “Baba Ijebu”, making the gaming company the Official Gaming Partner of the national football teams on Monday.

At the colourful ceremony and in the presence of the eminent personalities of the NFF such as Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi, NFF First Vice President; Ademola Olajire, NFF Director of Communications and Adebisi Adebutu, Executive Director of Operations at Premier Lotto; Pinnick was delightfully effusive in highlighting the generosity and philanthropy of Chief Adebutu.

Addressing the seated philanthropist, Pinnick said: “The NFF and the entire Nigeria Football family is grateful to you for the work you are doing to remodel and upgrade our beloved National Stadium, Lagos. I also remember acts of generosity from you to the various National Teams particularly the Super Eagles.

“You are a great and wonderful man and we pray that you spend many, many more years in good health and in joy.”

Also present at the signing of the partnership agreement were other executive members of the football body, the betting company and others such as Ruth David, NFF Director of Competitions; Barr. Okey Obi, NFF Legal Director; Alizor Chuks, NFF Head of Marketing; Rajan Zaka, NFF AD of Finance; Kingsley Ozumba from Pamodzi Sports Marketing and Ken Nwankwo and Oyelaran Noah from Premier Lotto.

The NFF president’s delight with the deal was evident in his remarks at the signing. Pinnick said: “Today’s event makes me very happy because it takes us even closer to the financial autonomy that we so much desire, so that we can remove entirely the burden the of funding the National Teams from the Government.

“Premier Lotto is a company with high integrity and we are happy to have this relationship with Chief Adebutu and the company.”

On his part, an overjoyed Chief Adebutu admitted that Premier Lotto felt a sense of fulfillment to finally have a relationship with the NFF and the national teams.

The Chief Executing Officer of Premier Lotto appreciated the compliments showered on him and returned the favour by equalling lavishing praise on Pinnick and the work he and his board have been doing to grow Nigeria football even in challenging times such as these.
