SAN FRANCISCO, October 14, (THEWILL) – Nigerian music superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly called Wizkid, says his album scheduled for October 15, 2020 will be postponed because of the ongoing protests against operatives of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS).
The singer gave this hint on Wednesday while responding to a fan who asked him, “#SarsMustGoNow …but @wizkidayo MIL go still drop?” He replied, “Not yet !! Mad times!!”
THEWILL reports that major roads across the country are shut down as protesters hit the streets asking for police reform and accountability as well as good governance.
The singer had initially disclosed that the anticipated album would debut in July but that was later shifted to October 15.
