Again, Plateau Tops As Nigeria Records 250 New Coronavirus Cases

BEVERLY HILLS, August 29, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Saturday reported 250 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the tally countrywide to 53, 727 with 41, 314 recoveries and 1011 deaths. Just like Friday, no new death was reported from the virus.

According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Plateau State led again for the fourth day in row, adding 69 new cases, while the FCT recorded 41 cases. Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria, recorded 21, Delta 14, Kaduna 14 and Bayelsa 13. See below for a full breakdown.

The NCDC also said it has so far tested 398, 304 samples as at August 28, 2020.
