SAN FRANCISCO, June 05, (THEWILL) – Popular Nollywood actor, Seun Ajayi, says sexual harassment is pervasive in the Nigerian movie industry and wants people in the sector to speak up against the problem instead of remaining silent.
In a 5-minute video he shared on social media, the actor said he had witnessed it many times on set adding that the perpetrators are usually male filmmakers.

“Many times, I will see male colleagues harass ladies on set. There was one time I was on set, it was so bad. This guy was constantly commenting on this girl’s bum and groping her. Everybody told him to stop. I told him to stop; he didn’t until he was officially written by the girl’s lawyer.”
