BEVERLY HILLS, April 16, (THEWILL) – An Abuja-based clergyman, Reverend Emeka Evans Unaegbu, has been killed by suspected gunmen inside his church in Nyanya-Jikwoyi area of Abuja.
THEWILL reports that the bizarre incident happened on Tuesday night when Emeka was having a vigil apparently alone in his church, Goodnews Power Assembly International, in Abuja.
He was barely alive when he was discovered on Wednesday.
He later died on the way to the hospital.
Reports said the matter had been reported to the FCT police.
Emeka Evans’ last post on Facebook before his death was on 10th April, when he invited the faithful to a “Victory Celebration: on 11th April and a “communion revival service on Wednesday 14 April.”
