Abducted Kaduna School Rector Regains Freedom

August 5, (THEWILL) – The abducted Rector of the Federal School of Statistics, Manchok, Kaduna State, Amos Magbon, has regained freedom.

Magbon was kidnapped from his house in Manchok on Tuesday night.

Confirming the release of the rector, his brother, Innocent Magbon, said Amos had been released by his abductors, but didn’t mention if any ransom was paid.

Also released was Brenda Friday, a niece to Philip Yatai, a correspondent of NAN, whose father was killed by the gunmen in an attack on his home in Manchok, on Tuesday night.

Philip Yatai also confirmed the release of his niece by her abductors.
