Abducted Anchor University Deputy VC, Johnson Fatokun Released

BEVERLY HILLS, January 20, (THEWILL) – Abducted Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Anchor University, Lagos State, Prof. Johnson Fatokun, has been released.

The Assistant Registrar Strategy and Communications, Anchor University, Okesola Sanusi, who disclose this on Wednesday evening, said, “DVC released! To the glory of God, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Anchor University, Prof J.O Fatokun has been released.”

Anchor University is a faith-based institution in Ayobo, Lagos, owned by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry.

Fatokun left Lagos on Sunday to drop off his two children, who were schooling in the North.

He was said to be returning on Monday when his vehicle was attacked by the gunmen in Nasarawa en route to the airport to return to Lagos.
