2Baba, Falz, Others To Hold Free Concert In Lagos, Make PVC Compulsory Entry Ticket

June 10, (THEWILL) – To increase the motivation for youths to participate in the upcoming 2023 general elections, a concert called the ‘Youth Vote Count’, has been created.

The event, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 11, is organised by Yiaga Africa, a civil society organisation, in partnership with the European Union (EU).

M.I Abaga, Teni, Omawumi, Mayorkun, Joeboy, are some of the entertainers that will perform at the concert.
Falz, 2Baba, and Asake, are among the Nigerian music heavyweights that will grace the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos Island for the second edition of ‘Youth Vote Count’ concert.

The mega concert, which is aimed at achieving this purpose, will be hosted in six states across the six geopolitical zones, starting with Lagos.

Concert goers will only be allowed entrance if they have their permanent voters card (PVC) or the temporary voters card with them.

Interested persons who do not have the PVC or the temporary voters card are advised to come early, so as to be able to register for their voters’ cards at their concert’s venue.

Others expected at the concert are Waje, Kizz Daniel, Patoranking, Skiibii, Small Doctor, and Bella Shmurda.
The concert is expected to also have Mr Macaroni, Broda Shaggi, Toyin Abraham, Uti Nwachukwu, Uche Jombo, Lasisi Elenu, Kie Kie, Omoni Oboli, and Real Warri Pikin in attendance.

The purpose of YVC is to mobilise citizens, especially first-time voters to participate in the electoral process.
