August 15, (THEWILL) – Musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, has reacted to rumours of him having an extra-marital affair.
In the past week, claims that the artist had impregnated a certain banker went viral.
This came days after Idibia posted a public apology for being an embarrassment to his wife and family.
In the said statement shared via his Instagram page, Idibia wrote, “This is no stunt. I’m sorry for all the embarrassment I’ve caused my wife, my kids, my mother, my siblings and my management team. I’m not looking for sympathy and I’m not trying to make myself look good. This is no reverse psychology bullshit.
“I simply just don’t want to be the one that always apologises. I’ve been a shitty father, husband and baby daddy. I have no excuses. I just want to do right by my wife, my kids and their moms, my mom and all the members of my extended family, my manager and friends.”
Reacting to the rumours of his alleged affair, the musician slammed peddlers of the rumour for speaking about things they had no idea of.
“Una too like ‘belle’ matter. See person wey no even know who will be their senator just dey insult wetin dem no even get any idea about. Una welldone. Father forgives them for their brains have been fried,”he wrote in Pidgin English, via his Instagram stories on Monday.
