2021 Nations Cup Qualifier: Eagles Begin Preparations On Sunday

BEVERLY HILLS, November 08, (THEWILL) – The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Sunday begin preparations for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Benin Republic.

Head Coach, Gernot Rohr, is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Saturday ahead of the team.

Super Eagles will host Benin on Wednesday, November 13, at Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.

In the 23-man roster released on Wednesday, Captain Ahmed Musa is top on the list having recovered from the injury that ruled him out of the Super Eagles’ recent game.

Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is called for the first time since the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt this year summer as the first choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, is out for several months after his horrific injury against Brazil.
