Naomi Silekunola Returns to Ministerial Calling

Queen Silekunola Naomi, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has returned to her ministerial work after abandoning it for some months when she quit her marriage of three years to the king. The mother of one ran an interdenominational ministry based in Akure, Ondo State before marrying the monarch. She was also the founder of two Non-Governmental Organization, EN- Heralds ministry and Women In Need of Guidance and Support, WINGS, before marrying the traditional ruler.

She was involved in running the ministry on a skeletal basis while functioning as the queen in Ile-Ife. However, things changed after she announced her exit from the palace in December 2021. Following the collapse of her marriage, she took time off to regain her composure, enrolled in a school and continued her philanthropy work. Now she has reverted to her original calling as a Prophetess, though she prefers to be addressed as queen instead of being called a prophetess.

She was recently invited for a church ministration two weeks ago at the Christ Chapel International Church in Akure, Ondo State. She took to Instagram to post a video of herself preaching at the church. She gushed over the fact that is back fully to what she loves doing as she posted her video on Instagram. According to her, she had a great time in the presence of God. She also had an online outreach programme for her ministry on Wednesday, December 14 which she posted on her social media pages as well. Many of her fans took to the comment section to thank God on her behalf that she didn’t allow the disappointment of her past keep her from pursuing her ministerial calling.
