My Focus Is Winning Titles With Napoli – Osimhen Says Amid Transfer Rumours

December 21, (THEWILL) – Victor Osimhen, who remains a transfer target for Manchester United, has reiterated his commitment to stay at Napoli for the foreseeable future.

The 23-year-old is aspiring to win a trophy with the I Partenopei and the Napoli team is closer to that dream now than at any other time. On the other hand, to strengthen the Man Utd front line, the Red Devils are planning to add strikers to their desire list.

In the forthcoming transfer window, Erik ten Hag’s plans for a striker like Osimhen may have hit a brick wall as the Nigerian stated in a recent interview that he wanted to remain in Naples and continue to win titles for Napoli.

Osimhen said: It’s one of the best clubs in Europe and I want to win here. The future is this moment, try to win something relevant in Italy. It’s hard to think about something better than Napoli, one of the best clubs in Italy, right now. I am only focused on this season because we haven’t done anything yet. We must win something and then we’ll see what happens.”

The Nigerian player left French team LOSC Lille in the summer of 2020 to join Napoli. He has served as the Partenopei’s talisman ever since.

The Naples-based team are having a successful season atop the standings and eight whole points clear of defending champions AC Milan in second place after 15 games.
