Milan Defender Ballo-Toure Out For Four Weeks After Shoulder Surgery

January 02, (THEWILL) – AC Milan has announced that defender Fode Ballo-Toure, will be out for four weeks after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder.

The Senegal international was injured during Milan’s friendly against PSV on Friday, and will join a lengthy injury list that includes Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mike Maignan, Rade Krunic, Divock Origi, and Alessandro Florenzi.

The club stated that the operation, which took place at the IRCCS Galeazzi Sant’Ambrogio Hospital in Milan, was “perfectly successful” and that Ballo-Toure is expected to return to full activity in four weeks. Ballo-Toure has made seven appearances for Milan this season.

The Rossoneri will resume their Scudetto defence against Salernitana when Serie A resumes on Wednesday.
