August 12, (THEWILL) – Mercy Chinwo has tied the knot with Blessed Uzochikwa, her clergyman partner, on Friday, in Port Harcourt.
The event was attended by Friends and church members of the Waterbrooks Church, where the singer’s husband pastors.
Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W, Adesua Etomi-Wellington were among celebrities who graced the occasion.
Video of the traditional ceremony has since surfaced online.
The couple’s court wedding took place earlier in the Ikoyi axis of Lagos state.
The couple got engaged on June 23 and held their marriage introduction in July.
Chinwo started her gospel music career after winning the second season of the Nigerian Idol.
She has continued to receive massive reception from gospel music lovers since then.
Uzochikwa, on the other hand, is a pastor of The Waterbrook Church located in Lekki, Lagos.
