January 02, (THEWILL) – Manchester City are prepared to offer a package deal to Milan for forward, Rafael Leao, which would include Jack Grealish and a transfer fee.
The 23-year-old Leao has been in impressive form for Milan this season, scoring six goals and recording five assists in 14 Serie A appearances. Milan rejected a £62 million bid for Leao from Chelsea, and are reportedly holding out for a club that can meet his £133 million transfer fee.
City reportedly believe they have an advantage in negotiations due to their willingness to include Grealish, who has struggled for playing time in the Premier League this season, as part of their offer.
Milan are reportedly interested in Grealish if Leao leaves the club.
The Etihad club is also reportedly looking to recoup some of the £100 million they spent in bringing Grealish from Aston Villa with the same to Milan as part of a pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.
Since joining the German team from his hometown club, Birmingham City, in 2020, the 18-year-old has improved his game to new heights, making 85 appearances in all competitions, while tallying 10 goals and 17 assists.
