January 03, (THEWILL) The Malumfashi Football Club in Katsina has announced the appointment of Steven Lokrit, as their new technical adviser.
Lokrit, formerly the coach of Mighty Jets FC, signed a two-year contract with the club and will take charge in the prospects of their challenge for silverware in the Nigeria National League, the second tier of club football in Nigeria.
During a ceremony to unveil the new coach, the club’s chairman, Sirajo Umar Baba, challenged Lokrit to work towards securing one of the two Northern Conference spots in the NPFL for the benefit of the community and sports fans in Katsina State.
The chairman also promised to support and cooperate with Lokrit in order to help him succeed in his role and ensure that he is comfortable in the daily discharge of his duties, roles and responsibilities.
