June 09, (THEWILL) – Activist Aisha Yesufu has taken to Instagram to lament and warn Nigerians about their choice of leaders ahead of the 2018 general election.
Her outburst comes after the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emerged as APC’s presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress, APC.
According to her, people should stop hailing the politician as a smart man and calling his move “politics 101.”
She stated that his emergence is just “pure wickedness”. As he knows he is not fit for the job.
She added that she warned Nigerians in 2014, but they didn’t listen to her. Now, history is going to repeat itself again.
“I see many of you shouting that what Bola Tinubu did is politics 101. No, it is wickedness 100. Somebody who knows he is not fit physically for the job takes on the job just because he can run his way through or there are people over the years he has helped and it is now his turn to take over.
“It’s a sense of entitlement that it is time for him to rule and people are joking about it. Your life, that of your children and unborn children are the ones being wasted. All our lives.
“Let me give you an example, I am 48 years old, I have arthritis. What I could do 8 years ago, I can’t do now. There are things I could do in my 20’s that I can’t do now.
“I wouldn’t say because I have connections, I have placed people in certain places, then I now say it has always been my dream to run for the Olympics at my age and medical condition.
“There are people who can go there and bring home the gold medal, why can’t I leave the race to them? That is what Nigerians have been doing. You know those who don’t care about you, yet you put them in power.
“Look at Abubakar Atiku, where has he been? He has been chilling in Dubai. You have people chilling in Dubai and London coming to be our leaders.
“This is the time that all the prayers and miracles we have been waiting for to come to pass but you will rather put in people who you see that cannot deliver on the job.
“It’s the same thing I said in 2014, why didn’t Buhari bring in another person, today we are here, it’s eight years of wickedness and all of us will suffer for it.There is enough wickedness to go round for all of us. Keep voting for people that will destroy your life.”
