BEVERLY HILLS, March 20, (THEWILL) – Jason Njoku, the CEO of Iroko TV, has celebrated his wife, Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku, on her birthday.
Njoku took to his Twitter account on Saturday to say that Mary made him who he was as she gave him everything he had.
According to Njoku, due to ill health, which have kept them apart, his wife would be spending her birthday alone.
He said: “Today is @MrsMaryNjoku birthday. First time she has had to spend it alone… though my emergency illness kept us apart & any and all begging of forgiveness has been said. Perhaps you Pipo will help me beg x10 forgiveness too… Mrs Njoku made me. She gave me everything.”
THEWILL recalls that the couple came under social media attack recently after Jason Njoku bragged about paying millions of Naira for his children’s school fees.
He wrote, “Most Nigerians don’t realise but most things in Nigeria are actually super cheap by African (forget global standards). For Tier 1 education in Africa (forget about globally) this for boarding school is cheap. I pay more for my 3-year olds Montessori school.
“My wife and I didn’t have any of the privileges we enjoy today. They know who their market is and N4-5m isn’t a big problem for anyone sending their kids here.“
