Iyabo Ojo Reacts To Isaac Fayose’s Claims Of Bad Business Ethics

GTBCO FOOD DRINL

November 13, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has opened up about what transpired between her and Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose.

Fayose had claimed that he ordered N7,000 pepper soup from Ojo’s restaurant but was served three bones instead of meat.

The entrepreneur said he has been patronising the restaurant for over a year. He also claimed he reached out to the film star to complain but she abused him in the process.

“I bought pepper soup from Iyabo Ojo’s restaurant in Lekki Phase 1 and they gave me 3 bones and I complained. Iyabo Ojo started abusing me, she called me to abuse me, she said that I am looking for cheap popularity,” he said.

“She said if that wasn’t my aim, why will I do that because I did a video and sent it to my cousin, Toyin Lawani to advise her friend that the service is going down. I have been buying food from Iyabo for one year and I have all my receipts here.

“Iyabo called me and started saying all things to me. She said I am poor, that’s why I’m asking for the second round, and then hung up on me. This is pepper soup of N7,000… can anyone buy this? It’s all bones. This is not nice.”

The actress has, however, stated her own side of the story on Sunday, on her Instagram page.

“I really wanted to ignore this but I noticed a lot of people have been tagging me regarding the video Isaac Fayose made about my restaurant. I just want to clear the air for two reasons. One, for my darling customers and two, for those (my fans) who feel I need to address it,” she said.

According to the actress, when she got Fayose’s complaint, she reached out to the manager of her restaurant immediately and asked him to call and apologise.

Ojo also said she asked the manager to tell Fayose to either request anything as compensation for the pepper soup sold to him or forward his account number for a refund.

The actress said Isaac demanded a fish pepper soup, which she asked her manager to prepare for him.

Ojo, however, said she got angry when she realised that the entrepreneur had already shared the video of the incident on WhatsApp.

The actress accused Fayose of trying to sabotage her business. She also tackled him for demanding compensation when he already put out the video of the incident on social media.
