January 15, (THEWILL) – Inter Milan secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on Tuesday night, solidifying their position in the top-four race in the Serie A.
Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal of the match just three minutes in, but the rest of the match was a disappointment for fans in attendance.
Despite Inter’s quick start, the match was a struggle for both sides to create meaningful chances. Verona, who are currently fighting for survival in the league, failed to take risks and put pressure on the home side.
