July 02, (THEWILL) – The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Abeokuta North Constituency, Ahmed Oladimeji, has disclosed that he would give out non-interest loans to empower traders and artisans in his constituency.
Olademji disclosed this while fielding questions from newsmen at the party secretariat in Abeokuta, the state capital, recently.
He said that the purpose of giving out the loans to traders and artisans, if he wins the seat come 2023 election, was to boost their businesses, in order to sustain their livelihood
Oladimeji, who accused the Dapo Abiodun-led administration of being insensitive to the plight of Ogun citizens, said that he would liberate his people from hardship through the non-interest loans.
He noted that if the traders and artisans were given the loan, it would make it easier for them to operate their businesses and pay back the credit facility with ease.
“I will empower my people, if you look at my constituency, Abeokuta North, you will discover that we have traders, artisans, what will help them is by giving them non-interest loans, it is workable, someone that is operating a business with about 100,000 can be given 100,000 and pay back with ease with no interest.”
