November 09, (THEWILL) – Tiannah styling boss, Toyin Lawani, has responded to critics who nailed her for misspelling late Hollywood actor, Chadwick Boseman’s name.
The sequel of Blank Panther: Wakanda Forever, premiered on Sunday night, with celebrities wearing their best outfit to depict costumes in the movie.
Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Hermes, who was one of the best dressed at the event, wore a costume which paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, one of the actors in the movie, but unfortunately died in 2020 from colon cancer.
His costume was made by the fashion boss, Lawani, but she misspelt the deceased’s name. She inscribed ‘Chad Boswick’ on his cape, instead of Chadwick Boseman.
The mother of three was hugely criticised for her error with some colleagues calling for her imprisonment.
Reacting to the criticism, Lawani shared a video of herself as she advertised her latest show in London. In her caption, she stated that she has no time for naysayers because who God has blessed, he has blessed.
“No time for naysayers, who God don bless he don bless, we keep moving forward, it’s been a dream and it’s happening guys”, she wrote.
