May 19, (THEWILL) – Germany coach, Hansi Flick, has picked a strong 26-man roster to prosecute Germany’s next Nations League encounters at the end of the 2021/2022 season
Between June 4 and 14, Flick’s squad will play four games, including home and away matches against Italy, as well as hosting England and travelling to Hungary.
There are no new faces in Germany’s roster, with Flick opting for the established players, who will almost definitely make up the majority of his side for the 2022 World Cup, which begins in November.
The absence of Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is significant, although he had previously stated that he had asked Flick for permission to miss the matches in order to rest, as THEWILL previously reported.
