December 09, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the complete lifting of COVID-19 restrictions as proposed by the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
THEWILL reports that president Buhari gave his approval on Friday in Katsina.
The Federal Government had last month hinted at plans to lift more COVID-19 restrictions to relieve Nigerians, especially travellers, of some stress.
National Coordinator/Technical Head, PSC, Dr Mukhtar Muhammad, had said even though the world is moving on away from COVID-19, it was only proper that relaxation of the restrictions are done gradually without rush to avoid mistakes
