BEVERLY HILLS, November 16, (THEWILL) – A female suicide bomber Sunday hit a phone market in Azare, Bauchi State, northeastern Nigeria.
The bomber attacked the usually crowded weekly GSM market on Sunday evening.
Casualty figures are unclear though at least 25 persons are believed to have been killed and 64 injured in the blast. Witnesses reported seeing dead bodies including the mangled remains of the bomber.
The attack is coming barely a week after an Azare market was bombed by suspected members of the Boko Haram, a terrorist group operating in northern Nigeria.
