Family Releases Burial Plans For AMAA Founder Anyiam-Osigwe

February 01, (THEWILL) – The family of late Peace Anyiam-Osigwe has released her burial arrangements.

The founder of the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) died in January, after a brief illness.

According to the programme of events leading to her internment, a Night of Tributes will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Marriott Hotel, Joel Ogunnaike Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Service of Songs will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba, on Monday, February 13, between 4:00 pm and 5.00 pm.

It will be followed by a Mass of the Resurrection (Funeral Mass) at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos on Wednesday, February 15.

Internment, which is strictly a family affair, will follow immediately after the funeral Mass.

Subsequently, a Thanksgiving Mass will be held on Sunday, February 19, at Catholic Church of the Presentation Church, Oba Akinjobi Street, GRA, Ikeja at 10.00 am.

Entertainment of guests will take place after the Thanksgiving Mass at Marcelina’s place on Isaac John at 1.00pm.
