January 30, (THEWILL) – Everton confirmed Sean Dyche as their new Manager on Monday and are looking to strengthen their squad.

The club has, therefore, made a £45m bid for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher and is also pursuing Rennes winger, Kamaldeen Sulemana. Gallagher, who was part of England’s World Cup squad, is highly sought after, but it is unlikely that he will choose a move to Goodison Park.

Dyche has taken over a team in need of major improvement, with the club having won only once in 12 English Premier League games and sitting joint-bottom. He has called for unity from the ownership, staff, and players to help preserve the club’s 69-year top-flight status as he plans to reignite the passion of the fans.

He said: “We’ve got to give the fans something so they can start regripping hold of the club through the team. We want to change the shape of this club going forward, remodel it in our style, but in a way that we can win.”

The former Burnley Manager is eager to get to work and says that winning is the ultimate goal.
