Dele Adeleke Replies Davido, Says ‘I Have Maintained Decorum In The Face Of Provocation’

January 20, (THEWILL) – Dele Adeleke, one of the State of Osun governorship aspirants and cousin to popular music act, David Adedeji Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido has responded to the allegations leveled against him by the musician.

Dele stated that he lost his mother at a tender age just like him, so he would not allow anyone denigrate her or her memory. He added that he will not say anything against Auntie Vero whom he cherish so much.

Dele further made it known that his cousin, Davido is the king of social media, that is why people are taking advantage of it to clout chase.

He revealed that some of his fans have been threatening him on social media, some even wished him dead. He asked his cousin if he was the one who sent those threathening him and later stated that he cannot be the one.

Dele added that he has maintained decorum in the face of provocation and would continue to do so. And that he respects Davido’s decision to support their uncle, Demola Adeleke, an act he labeled as beauty of democracy.

He stressed that they can make individual choices without rancour and bitterness. And they can follow different paths and still live as one big family. He assured the music act that people of Osun would choose the best man fit for the job. He concluded by saying that he had earlier on privately sent a what’s app message to the musician which was not delivered, he had to resort to Twitter later on.
